Russia Targets Ukraine’s Lifelines—But Its Battlefield Plan Is Failing

Thank You for Standing With Ukraine
https://ukrainesupportbridge.com/

Russia is targeting Ukraine's power grid, threatening critical bridges, and intensifying pressure on the Donetsk fortress belt. But Ukraine is fighting back—and today, Professor Gerdes and I break down the bigger picture of a war being fought on multiple fronts.

We examine Russian strikes on energy infrastructure and electrical substations, concerns about Belarus and a potential northern threat, and why the bridges across the Dnipro River are so strategically important. From Kyiv and Chernihiv to Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia, we explain how geography, transportation, and logistics shape Ukraine's defense.

On the eastern front, we examine the fighting around Sumy, Kharkiv, Lyman, and Dobropillia, including Ukraine's efforts to protect the Sloviansk-Kramatorsk fortress belt. We also discuss Russia's war economy, reports concerning Ukrainians in occupied territory, developments at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, and Russian propaganda involving Mariupol and Oleshky.

And we end with something powerful: direct messages of gratitude from Ukrainian frontline soldiers. Through Project Constantine and the Summer Strength campaign, supporters have helped provide night vision equipment, thermal optics, vehicles, Starlink terminals, and other urgently requested supplies. You'll hear directly from soldiers of the 42nd Mechanized unit about how this equipment helps protect lives, along with an update on a Polaris vehicle delivered through the campaign.
