A deadly confrontation between members of Ukraine’s Security Service and Defense Intelligence erupted in broad daylight in Kyiv, leaving one GUR member dead and two wounded. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called the incident “absolutely disgraceful” and demanded a full investigation, accountability, and personnel decisions after the facts are established.

In this video, we examine Zelenskyy’s response and the account given by a GUR Timur unit commander, who said a GUR serviceman had been detained without formal charges and alleged that SBU personnel later opened fire without warning.
