'No replacement': Second son succeeds Khamenei as the new supreme leader

The Iran Threat Author Alireza Jafarzadeh discusses Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's second son, Mojtaba's, election as Iran's supreme leader.

“There really is no replacement for Supreme Leader Khamenei,” Mr Jafarzadeh told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.

“His death is basically the end of theocracy, the end of this regime.

“The whole issue of succession has really increasingly become moot.”
