Thank You for Standing With Ukraine
https://ukrainesupportbridge.com/

On Ukraine’s 35th Independence Day, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy delivers a defiant message to Vladimir Putin: Ukraine will not surrender, Russia is paying an enormous price, and Putin’s time is running out. General Keith Kellogg reinforces that message with a blunt assessment—Russia thinks it is winning, but Ukraine holds the initiative.

This Independence Day update examines Zelenskyy’s challenge to Xi Jinping over nuclear threats, the growing international presence in Kyiv, and Britain’s move to help Ukraine produce SCALP cruise-missile technology domestically. The UK announcement could strengthen Ukraine’s ability to strike hardened Russian military targets while reducing its dependence on limited foreign missile supplies.

Kellogg explains why Russia’s territorial failures, reliance on North Korean troops, and relocation of logistical bases undermine Putin’s claims of victory. He also rejects Russian sovereignty over occupied Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia while warning that Ukraine still faces severe air-defense shortages and a difficult winter.

I examine the stark contrast between Ukraine’s limited overnight strikes on Russian military targets and Russia’s large-scale barrage across Ukraine. Ukrainian forces reportedly struck Kasta and P-18 radar systems, an attack-UAV launch site, artillery, and vehicles—targets that support Russian battlefield surveillance and drone operations. Russia, meanwhile, launched 282 drones and missiles; Ukraine reported downing 219 drones, but ballistic missiles still reached Kyiv and other regions.

I assess the reported damage to a Kyiv maternity clinic, postal infrastructure, homes, and vehicles, alongside damage to a hospital, school, apartment blocks, and other civilian sites in Odesa region. Zelensky’s UN appeal for more interceptors underscores the central strategic problem: air defense can blunt mass drone attacks, yet ballistic threats demand scarce, capable interceptors. I also cover 277 reported combat engagements, ISW’s estimate of just three square kilometers of Russian gains last week, claims around the Vivaldi counteroffensive, and why Delta Combat System architect Artem Martynenko’s appointment matters for Ukraine’s drone-enabled asymmetric advantage.

Inside Iran, the economy is in freefall and everyday life has become an impossible struggle. The local currency has crashed to historic lows, wiping out family savings and making basic food and goods unaffordable for millions of working-class citizens.

At the same time, severe fuel shortages have created massive, multi-kilometer gas lines stretching for hours outside stations across major cities. To make matters worse, the regime has doubled un-subsidized gasoline prices to 10,000 tomans per liter—siphoning vital fuel away from the public to smuggle it abroad for cash while dealing with a staggering daily deficit of up to 15 million liters.

This toxic mix of collapsing money, empty pumps, and extreme government greed has pushed the Iranian People to the absolute edge. With public anger boiling over, the streets are ready to explode as citizens prepare to take matters into their own hands and demand an end to the regime.

As the IRGC and regime hardliners prepare aggressive new internal crackdowns to preempt widespread anti-government demonstrations, Washington and Central Command are watching the cascading crisis closely. The combination of crippling U.S. naval blockades, collapsing currency values, and skyrocketing everyday costs has left the regime desperately squeezed for cash, accelerating the timeline for a potential domestic uprising.

TUPAC TRIAL LIVE: Watch Day 5 of the trial of Duane “Keefe D” Davis, who is accused of orchestrating the 1996 drive-by shooting of Tupac Shakur, live from Las Vegas court. Davis is charged with murder with the use of a deadly weapon with intent to promote, further or assist a criminal gang.

The trial is expected to last about a month. Prosecutors accuse Davis of ordering the fatal shooting as retaliation for a brawl that broke out on a casino floor shortly before Shakur was killed. Authorities have also pointed to comments Davis made in several media interviews as evidence of his alleged involvement in the killing.

Among the 200 potential witnesses in the case are some notable names, including:
Marion "Suge" Knight - Former Death Row Records CEO who was in the car when Shakur was shot
Former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman
Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo, who served in the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department at the time of the murder
Former LAPD Detective Greg Kading, who claims Davis confessed to his involvement during a 2009 interview with law enforcement
Yusef Jah, the ghostwriter for Davis in his memoir
Several of Shakur’s family members
