Russia claimed it intercepted 598 Ukrainian drones across 19 regions, Crimea, and surrounding seas—a figure that remains an unverified Russian claim. Ukraine also reported a major strike involving the Flamingo FP-5 against the TsSKB Progress facility in Samara, a strategically important center connected to Russia’s rocket and satellite industrial base. Ukraine also struck Savasleyka Air Base, home to MiG-31 aircraft associated with Kinzhal missile launches against Ukraine.

The contrast remains brutal. While Ukraine targets Russian military and industrial infrastructure, Russia continued its own barrage against Ukraine. Greg discusses reports of 152 drones overnight and the heartbreaking death of a three-month-old infant in Marhanets. Yesterday Russian drone operators hunted a civilian in the Ukrainian city of Kherson. This wasn’t a mistake, I mean Russians bragged about it and it’s unfortunately not unusual. The deliberate targeting of civilians, aid workers, elderly and children alike is so common in this area that it’s been dubbed the “Human Safari”.
