روایت مشهوری میان دوستداران موسیقی قدیمی ایران نقل می‌شود که محمدرضا شاه پهلوی با شنیدن ترانه‌ی «ای خدا حرفی بزن» از زنده‌یاد عارف بسیار تحت تأثیر قرار گرفت و اشک در چشمانش نشست.

شاید دلیل تأثیر این ترانه، فقط صدای عارف نبود؛ بلکه حس عمیق تنهایی، دعا، بغض و درماندگی‌ای بود که در جمله‌ی ساده‌ی «ای خدا حرفی بزن» پنهان شده است. این ترانه بیشتر شبیه یک فریاد آرام است؛ فریادی از دل کسی که دیگر از آدم‌ها جوابی نگرفته و رو به خدا کرده است.

در این بازآفرینی از نخل ایران، تلاش کردیم همان فضای احساسی، باشکوه و تلخ را زنده کنیم: اجرای یک خواننده‌ی قدیمی، فضایی شبیه تالارهای رسمی و موسیقی دهه‌ی پنجاه، و تصویری خیالی از لحظه‌ای که یک ترانه می‌تواند حتی قدرتمندترین آدم‌ها را هم بشکند.

این ویدیو یک بازآفرینی هنری و نوستالژیک است و بر اساس روایتی ساخته شده که سال‌ها میان علاقه‌مندان موسیقی قدیمی ایران نقل شده است.

This was a bigger reaction from Iran than expected

Looks like we’re back to war. This appears to be like more than a tit for tat response as the US carried out strikes for a few hours earlier today and the Iranian response, missile and drone attacks across the region, is still ongoing as of this recording.
In turn we don’t have any solid battle damage assessments however the US says we went after a number of radar sites along the coast and Iran says that one strike hit a wedding party killing four and wounding more than 50.
On the other side, Iran appears to have shot down a US MQ-9 Reaper drone and it looks like at least a few missiles bypassed air defense and impacted in Jordan. Jordan has since announced that 10 missiles were intercepted and 3 fell in unpopulated areas.
