Ukraine’s war is moving on several fronts at once. In this update, we go inside Russia to examine footage from Moscow showing a long fuel line on one side of the road and a burning Wildberries warehouse on the other — then use the visible GPS coordinates and street imagery to verify the location.

We then turn to Mykhailo Fedorov’s major interview and his warning about what it may take to force Russia to end this war. Fedorov says Ukraine will have its own ballistic missile and gives a three-to-six-month estimate for when one could strike a target inside Russia. That comes as Ukraine continues debating key government appointments and protesters keep demanding Fedorov’s return.

And in Zaporizhia, we see another brutal reality of civilian life near the front: a minibus fitted with anti-drone cage protection to survive Russian FPV attacks. Shortly before recording, a new image arrived showing that same minibus destroyed. At the time of this video, information about possible injuries had not been confirmed. I also explain why I am holding back a separate FSB blackmail story until the evidence can be fully verified.

So Ukraine is out of Patriot missile interceptors and Russia is ramping up missile production. That’s a problem, to say the least and I don’t think it’s a stretch to say this is the biggest issue facing Ukraine today.

Today, the most important news comes from the Kupiansk direction. 

Here, Ukrainian and Colombian forces conducted a new localised counterattack around Dvorichna, putting the last Russian stronghold under siege west of the Oskil River. Notably, Ukrainian forces recaptured the village of Fyholivka, which is strategically located on the road leading to Dvorichna from the north. 

Using Fyholivka, Ukrainian and Colombian forces can now assault Dvorichna from all sides. As the size of the bridgehead shrinks, Russia is forced to supply the town over an increasingly narrow stretch of river and use limited crossings, which are under constant monitoring by Ukrainian drones. Additionally, Ukrainian and Colombian units are now positioned in the forested areas only two kilometers from the town, which makes the accumulation of forces for assaults much easier, allowing them to assault from a forward position, reducing Russia’s time to react. 

However, Ukrainian forces also face significant challenges during their counterattacks. The most difficult stage is getting the assault groups to Dvorichna without being detected, as Russian drones constantly monitor the routes and remotely lay mines to disrupt an attack before it begins. To prevent this, Ukrainian forces carry out additional reconnaissance immediately before moving out, gathering intelligence on Russian positions, identifying the location and strength of enemy troops, and using drones and other assets to suppress Russian defenses and support the advancing assault groups. The forests north of Kupiansk are particularly valuable because they provide cover for Ukrainian and Colombian forces to assemble and move toward their objectives while reducing their exposure to Russian drone surveillance. They accumulate forces south of the town and will attack along the river, which protects their eastern flank during the assault. Ukrainians are also positioned in the forest patches west of Dvorichna, which they can reinforce by advancing through tree lines, as these provide concealment during troop rotations. With the recent capture of Fyholivka, Ukrainian forces can now also use the road to use armored vehicles to deploy troops directly inside Dvorichna. This methodical combination of reconnaissance, concealed troop movements, fire support, and coordinated assault groups is therefore central to how the Ukrainian-Colombian unit operates. As the assault troops are now ready for attack, these preparations will help them to recapture Dvorichna as Ukraine moves toward the final assault and siege of the town.

To assess the operation aimed at destroying the Russian bridgehead, Ukraine’s Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mykhailo Drapatyi, visited the unit’s headquarters and frontline sector. Drapatyi met with the twenty-third RUG Assault Regiment, whose ranks are almost fully filled with Colombians. During the visit, the regiment’s commander briefed Drapatyi on recent assault operations, the elimination of Russian infiltrations, and the liberation of key positions in the Kharkiv region. Drapatyi also focused on how foreign volunteers are being recruited, organized, and integrated into combat operations, highlighting their critical role in the ongoing counteroffensive. This visit highlighted the importance of this counterattack because, despite Ukrainians liberating Kupiansk in March of this year, Russia’s Dvorichna bridgehead to the north of the city was left intact. This allowed them to continue to infiltrate the city, which is why Ukraine needs to eliminate the bridgehead.

Overall, the Ukrainians are laying siege to Dvorichna to eliminate the last stronghold in the Russian salient. With Ukrainian forces advancing from multiple directions, Russia’s main stronghold on the western bank of the Oskil is increasingly coming under pressure from all sides. If Ukraine succeeds in taking Dvorichna, it would remove a key Russian foothold and significantly reduce Moscow’s ability to launch further infiltrations toward Kupiansk.

Today, the biggest news comes from the Russian Federation. 

Russia recently threatened Poland directly with complete and utter destruction. Patrushev, aide to Putin himself,  stated that Poland will cease to exist in two to three days if it ever enters the war. His statement drew both harsh criticism and ridicule, with many comparing it to Russia’s officially stated goal of capturing Kyiv and Ukraine in only three days at the outbreak of the full-scale invasion. However, this was followed by Russian threats of accidentally striking Polish infrastructure with new Geran five cruise missiles. As Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk cited intelligence reports stating that Russia has genuine plans to carry out kinetic attacks using real drones and missiles against countries that continue to support Ukraine, earlier Russian threats of annihilation seem all too real. 

Russian military analysts have repeatedly identified Poland as the most crucial supporting state for Ukraine. Polish officials themselves confirm that over ninety percent of military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine flows through Polish infrastructure. With delivery estimates totaling around two billion dollars’ worth of military equipment each month, Poland is one of Ukraine’s most important lifelines in the war.

Russian war planners have made real efforts to devise such an operation. Specifically, they discuss the use of the new mass-produced Russian Geran five cruise missile drones for this task. With a range of nine hundred fifty kilometers and a speed of up to six hundred kilometers an hour, nearly all of Poland is within range of these Russian weapons that even Ukraine struggles to take down. However, even when adhering to more realistic flight plans over Ukraine or the Baltic Sea, Russia could still use these drones to strike as far as Gdansk or Warsaw itself. Russian military observers describe that Polish trains, warehouses, repair sites, airfields, ports, and fuel depots directly serve the Ukrainian war machine and allow Ukraine to continue fighting, and are therefore valid military targets that are within Russian range to strike. 

While kinetic strikes seem the furthest away from the hybrid warfare that Russia is currently waging against Europe, the clandestine nature is that Russia would declare these attacks as random accidents, false flag attacks, or blame Ukrainian air defense. This is precisely what Russia has been doing for several years now, with increasing quantity and intensity in recent months; a prominent example being the failed FPV kamikaze drone strike on a Ukrainian cargo plane carrying military supplies at Leipzig airport. The Russian goal is for this probable ambiguity to divide Nato members and prevent a collective response or counter-strike, gradually wearing down the viability of a future Article Five declaration as Russia’s hybrid war moves towards becoming conventional. As Russia is scaling up its efforts and daring to push the red line further and further, the intelligence reports warning of kinetic Russian strikes on Polish infrastructure supporting Ukraine are not as far-fetched as they may initially seem. This is why Poland, together with other Baltic states, has significantly tightened security around critical infrastructure against possible drone strikes. Directly deploying military personnel to help secure LNG and oil terminals and port infrastructure, power and hydro plants, airports, and more. 

In the end, while Russian threats of Warsaw in three days may seem absurd, they are hiding an increasingly aggressive stance. Active threats, enhanced strike capabilities, and hybrid warfare that toes the line of real acts of war are making these scenarios a real possibility. As the defense of the European continent becomes more reliant on the ability to counter the new ways of modern warfare, along with the weapons and methods necessary, Ukraine’s role in this becomes increasingly important. Nato must work closely with its ally currently fighting against the Russian invasion and take real action in implementing the lessons learned, if it wants to undermine Russia’s ability to threaten the security of European states at all.

What impressed me most was Zelenskyy's ability to remain diplomatic while delivering an uncompromising message: Ukraine is fighting for its freedom, not negotiating a business transaction.
He made clear that replacing Ukraine's president would not change the fundamental reality of this war. Ukrainians are defending their homes, their children, and their independence.
And perhaps the most important message of the entire interview was this: Ukraine is not for sale.
