Ukraine is mourning after a devastating day of Russian strikes. In Kryvyi Rih, the confirmed toll from the attack on a shopping mall rose to 15 killed and 130 injured, including 23 children. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the attack and said Ukraine will respond.

The violence extended beyond Kryvyi Rih. A drone struck a minibus in Zaporizhzhia, while a Shahed attack on a multipurpose building in Tokarivka in the Mykolaiv region killed four people, including three boys. Against that backdrop, Ukraine also revealed the first batch of the Alexa Spatium interceptor drone—a mobile, turbojet-powered system designed to counter Russian kamikaze and Shahed-type drones and capable of returning for reuse if an interception is unsuccessful.

The video also examines new signs of pressure inside Russia: testimony that two military-age men were prevented from leaving the country despite having valid documents, and a Russian frontline soldier describing the horror of missions where five men are sent out and only one returns. Meanwhile Russia is now suffering a major fuel shortage once again due to the refinery strikes.

With Zelensky saying “There are no more safe moments in the sky over Russia” Now Putin didn’t handle this well, at all. A few days ago we learned that Ukraine had been conducting a major counteroffensive in the south over the last few months. Those operations, combined, led to over 745 sq km cleared and 26 villages returned to Ukrainian control. Part of the reason for that success is that it was kept secret. Clearance after clearance went off without a public mention from the Ukrainian military.

Today we’re joined by two soldiers that took part in some of those operations. Rojhat and SOUPS are team leaders in the Black Talon Group, an organization fighting in the Ukrainian SSO or Special Operations Forces. We focus on some of their close quarters tactics. How they go about clearing buildings when they know Russians are inside, challenges of infil and exfil and a crazy story about a recent MEDEVAC that goes to show that the ‘golden hour’ really isn’t a thing in this war.

Iran has announced that they shot down a US F-15E Strike Eagle with a new air defense system, which is what led to the aircraft being down yesterday in southwestern Iran. Currently they have not divulged what type of system it is, but some believe it may have been provided by Russia or China. Currently the search for the missing WSO from that shot down aircraft is still missing, and searches are still ongoing. The US President has threatened Iran once more that they either reopen the Strait of Hormuz or the US will start levelling critical infrastructure inside of Iran. Heavy strikes were seen throughout Iran again today. Ukraine has been confirmed to have set up bases inside of Libya to strike Russian LNG tankers travelling through the Mediterranean. Ukraine has also inflicted heavy losses onto the Russian armed forces over the past 24 hours, with Russia planning to strike critical water infrastructure throughout Ukraine. Germany has also announced that military aged men must ask permission from the German government to leave for any period longer than 3 months as war draws near.
